PVFC cooperated with Vietnam Resources and Environment Corporation in CDM On July 7th 2010, in the grand opening ceremony of the Vietnam Resources and Environment Corporation (VREC), held at the National Conference Center – My Dinh – Hanoi, the Corporation signed with PVFC a memorandum of understanding of cooperation in investment, finance services and CDM projects.
Witnessing the signing ceremony, there were Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien–Vice President of Vietnam National Assembly, Mr. Pham Khoi Nguyen-Resources & Environment Minister, together with many guests.
According to the memorandum of understanding, VREC and its subsidiaries will prefer PVFC’ credit, fund arrangement and financial services for corporation and individuals with preferential interest rates. Besides, the two partners will strengthen their corporation in energy, petroleum, coal, environmental sections (esp. CDM) relating investment under the agreement of equal benefit on both sides.
In details, the two partners will corporate in projects of pollution treatment, mineral exploitation in every city and province that ran by VREC. CDM projects that belong to Ministry of Resources and Environment would be preferred to be studied, invested in.
VREC is a state owned corporation, subjected to the Ministry of Resources and Environment, running business in such fields as real estate, water resource, environment, weather, hydrometeorology, geographical map study…
