PVFC held “Finance companies vs the 2010 Law for non-banking finance institutions’ business” workshop In late November, at PVFC Head Office, Mr. Doan Thai Son – Deputy Director of Law Department, State Bank has attended and talked at PVFC’ workshop about how finance companies perform abiding new rules for them (2010 Law for non-banking finance institutions’ business).
The meeting focused on the most interested issues: non-banking institutes’ conditions in order to get banking performance license; types of business activities that a non-banking institute really can do; conditions and standards it must have to issue credit card, letter of credit, finance leasing services…
Attenders also discussed on such arguing points as: Laws vs rules conflicts, non-banking institutions’ activities in trusted credit, issuing credit cards, funding other companies, and their rights of buying/selling debts…
The workshop well ended. It was absolutely a good chance for PVFC’ staffs to collect more knowledge, experiences, enhance their independent professional thinking as well as the quality of Corporation’ legal operation.
